It seems that the green towers are by far the best. Build them in the middle so they can reach everywhere. The blues or reds are good to start since they get powerful quickly. Once you've built the blue or red up to around 50 damage, stop and focus totally on greens. This has gotten me to level 77. To get further, I think you need a flower tower. For 3000 it's a bad deal at first for bad range and only 9000 damage. The 5000 upgrade is terrible - worse range and only slightly better damage, but then for 15000 you get one with 90900 damage which could theoretically get you far... if you can survive long enough to get that much money - which I can't.

Tower Defence, the flash game. Anybody have a strategy?
